Continuity and Handoff Capable Apple Mini Cards + PCIe and mini-PCIe Adapters

Issue with magic mouse is due to inteference between wifi and bt signals. Direct your antennas together away from the case (with the end of antennas near and placed horizontally)

I cant help with the rest, my card runned oob. I ll post my screens as I can (and yes it run on a mac 3.1 definition)

Hey,

thanks for your response, this is indeed odd.

Could you elaborate what you mean concerning the antennas? Am I supposed to make a "V-Shape"? Thanks!

Mmm a reverse Vshape (t the edge of antennas pointing all near, not spread). And parallel to the ceiling (perpendicular to the cabinet).

However en2 wifi is not right, delete all connections from network, delete networkinterface.plist and restart your computer. You now should add first ethernet and then wifi in network screen. Check if ethernet is en0 and wifi en1 in about my mac. Let me know if helped.

Thought I would share my experience with this card and adapter combo I found on Amazon: BCM94360CD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RCKZ3SU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It arrived within 10 days from China. I assembled it last night (connecting those antenna wires was a pain) put it in the PCIE x1 slot on my GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3, connected the 2-wire USB cable and booted it up.

Immediately, I was able to connect my Apple Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard so that was a good sign. I checked out system preferences and saw that the card was showing up under Bluetooth but there was nothing under WIFI. This seemed odd because everything I was reading talked about the WIFI working great OOB but bluetooth not.

I have tried the card in all the other PCIe slots with no luck. Switched the system definition from Mac Pro 3, 1 to Mac Mini 6, 2 and then iMac 14, 2 - all with no luck.

I'm wondering if I got a bum adaptor or card?

I found a link to a slightly different card that talks about an LED indicator: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/4-an...with-bluetooth4-0-Red-Version/1895023147.html

I don't know if my indicator light means the same thing but it is solid green from before boot up on, which might mean "After turn on ,only green light, shows as power supply wifi problem". How I might solve this "power supply wifi problem" is anybody's guess.

My next step will be to try the card in another Hackintosh that I have. Maybe it doesn't like my motherboard or something. I guess if that still doesn't work I might contact the vendor to see what they can do. Kind of wishing I had just bought the osxwifi.com card...

It's strange. I don't see any mention of it in the PCI section or DPCI manager. And yet the card is clearly in there and providing me bluetooth. Any idea why it wouldn't show up?

I bought the BCM94360CD and everything was recognized OTB.

Handoff works very stable, but I have issues with AirDrop.

AirDrop only runs, if Wifi is enabled. I already enabled AirDop on all Interfaces, but without Wifi, sometimes I can see my Mac from my iPhone. But I can't send anything, it just times out.

If Wifi and LAN is connected, it works.

Any idea what I can do to get it working with only my LAN adapter?

Wifi:
Vendor: 14E4
Device: 43A0
Sub Ven: 106B
Sub Dev : 0111

Thanks
