Console Text + Boot Screen Resolution

I'm looking for a way to hide the console text in the top left hand corner when i boot, mainly for the sake of tidiness.
Is there an easy way?

Also, is it possible to change the resolution of the boot screen? It defaults to something that isn't my monitors default (Not quite sure exactly what the size is.) I have a GTX570 and a 1440x900 monitor.

Boot screen graphic, insert string into org.chameleon.boot.plist

Can you post the screen shot to better articulate your "Console Text" message you want to get rid?

All of the text at the top left. It doesn't matter what theme I use, I always get it.

post your org.chameleon.boot.plist.
You might have Instant Menu=Yes option

I think it's Boot Banner.

So that would be:

<key>Boot Banner</key>
<string>No</string>

I've got Instant Menu set to No, so I'll try boot banner now.
