(SOLVED) Computer doesn't boot when graphic card is plugged on power supply
Z97-DELUXE
EVGA Geforce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0
16gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance
Bequiet Darkrock 3
Corsair VS550
1 SSD
1 HD
Short story :
The graphic card wasn't detected (loud fan noise), then I plugged the power cables on it (I'm a noob). Then on my Yosemite desktop, the computer crashed and didn't boot anymore. I unplugged the cable then it worked.
After that I thought the card wasn't detected because of the drivers, I installed Windows 8.1, updated BIOS, tried many times CUDA drivers, Geforce Drivers, Nvidia webdrivers,... and now I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue.
When no power cable is plugged, the graphic card tries to turn its fans every 5 seconds, (card not detected in mac, windows, BIOS). When everything is plugged, the computer doesn't boot.
SO, I'd like to know if you think my Power supply is OK or if you think it's another issue.
Thank you
PS : On EVGA website they say 500W power supply is enough...
EDIT : My GPU was dead, the new one runs perfectly
