Compatible memories

Hello guys,

it's being 2 weeks since I "hachintosh" my PC and I need some help to choose the right Ram.

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R

I am composing music with Logic and I need a huge amount of memory, so please let me know if you know any compatible memories (16GB or 24GB) for this motherboard. I have 4GB atm at 1600MHZ but the system recognises 1066 and 800MHZ frequency. Weird ah!!!!

You have to set the frequency manually in the BIOS.

You can populate all the slots with 4GB sticks, which would run you about $100 in total, but would give you 24GB.

I tried to set the frequency manually but no luck! The system couldn't start up and I had to pull off the battery.

Any good/tested suggestions on the memory?

Any memory will work under OSX. Look at your board's manual for what will work in it.
