Compatible memories

Hello guys,

it's being 2 weeks since I "hachintosh" my PC and I need some help to choose the right Ram.

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R

I am composing music with Logic and I need a huge amount of memory, so please let me know if you know any compatible memories (16GB) for this motherboard. I have 4GB atm at 1600MHZ but the system recognizes 1066 frequency. Weird ah!!!!

Oooooops, but it says supported memory 16GB!!!!!?????

I have 4GB atm at 1600MHZ but the system recognizes 1066 frequency.

Which CPU do you have? Your mobo won't bring your ram down to 1066.
AND, in real life computer using, you will never see the difference between 1066/1333/1600
Buy the cheapest ddr3 ram you get and you'll be fine.
