Im using El Capitan hackintosh - I have the option in buying a gen Mac pro very similar spec - if i do this can I simply swap the boot up SSD and will it start up ??? - Maybe a silly question i know but id rather have a genuine one due to compatibility and updating

It might work... but you would not need Clover or any of those special drivers. I did something similar when I built my first Hack years ago. I took a working Real-Mac boot drive and installed it into my Hack. I had to add Clover and then figure out all the boot stuff ( like a working .plist) but I did not have to reinstall all my Mac software.

I think you'll work once the Clover stuff is isolated (maybe MacOS will just ignore it?)

No the SSD from the mackintosh didn't even boot up, I removed the folders containing the hackintosh kexts etc.. How can I make the SSD bootable? Even tho the hackintosh contains different hardware
