Hello there. I live in a small town in TX and am one of a very FEW of computer techs. I have a machine with ~5 HHDs, and, I want to install Mac OSX on one of them. Specs are as follows:
Asus Sabertooth X79 Motherboard
Intel i7-3930K CPU
32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 (4x8GB)
64GB SSD (Linux)
256GB SSD (WIN7)
320GB (OSX Intended)
500GB (Documents)
1.5TB (Storage)
MSI Twin Frozr III 7950 3GB Video

What exactly do I need to install OSX and is what I have compatible enough. I have no problem with work-a-rounds for things, but, I cannot get my retail disc conversion (10.5) to install, and have had no luck with the Lion or Mountain Lion Installers. The 4gb ram thing is a problem as I cannot degrade to less than 8gb. Thanks.

your build seems sound
but u either need an installer(unibeast) or at least sl(10.6.3)dvd to start
to get the usb thing going u need a mac or hac to make a usb installer
purchace osx from the app store
download unibeast and multi beast from here...
then look at the install forum and the build forum as well, for the procedure neccesary for your board....(it can vary quite a bit based on your chipset)
good luck and ask ...there are plenty of folks here willing to help just ask..

the only thing id change is the gfx card....it seems nvidia products are easier to set up...

Radion 7xxx cards are unsupported get a 68xx or a gtx 6xx or 5xx
