Hi,
I wanted to build a second hack with the exact same parts as last year (parts in my bio) but unfortunaly not everything is available. So I did some little changes like the grfx card.

Is this build compatible with OSX HS?

  • INTEL CORE I7-6950X
  • ASUS X99-E WS/3.1
  • Samsung 960 PRO (512GB, M.2 2280) for Windows 10
  • Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black 64GB 4-Kit
  • ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ROG STRIX A8G-Gaming
  • WD Red Pro (4TB, 3.5") for RAID 0
  • Cooler Master V Serie V1000 (1000W)
  • Samsung 860 Pro for Rendering Cache
Main use is after effects and adobe products.

Thanks

you may want to change to an AMD video card

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately I can't change to AMD because we need CUDA.

Here an article talking about gfx cards

The important factor here are the CUDA Cores, since After Effects can make use of these in 3D viewport rendering and also in calculating some effects.

Great choices here are the Nvidia 1070 GTX, 1070 TI or 1080 GTX, since these have a great price/performance ratio.

On my build I do have an ASUS GTX 1080 Ti Fe 11GB, but I can't find it anymore to buy

you will be limited to High Sierra for the moment
