It's generally recommended to only install with 4GB of ram installed, so you might want to go with 2x 8GB Dual Channel Kits instead.

Yes, you can. Sorry, I read that as being 2x 8GB, not 4x 4GB. You should be good, IMHO.

Just FYI. A lot of people seem to like G.Skill ram over Corsair.

I don't worry about that anymore. I constantly install with 16 Gigs.
 
Is there any reason why this will not work? :?:
I spent a lot of time researching this and was just wondering if I overlooked something before I hit the BUY button.
