Hi there,

I'm thinking about upgrading my Hack with a second GPU (mainly for Davinci Resolve) and wondering if i can combine my GTX 570 with a 4GB GTX 680 or 4GB GTX 760. I'm asking mainly cause of the graphics enabler that is set to "yes" since my 570 wouldn't work without it. Does the enabler affect the other card as well? Would be nice to get some infos on that.

Cheers

Tobsn

AFAIK you can only use multiples of the same card in a multi-GPU setup. So it's not a matter of GraphicsEnabler, it just wouldn't work at all.

That's not necessarily true. I successfully ran a 9600GT and GTX 550ti under Lion using EFI strings. OSX loaded the proper kexts for each card, as seen in verbose boot.

I don't know how different GPUs work under 10.9, but I'm willing to bet that given the proper EFI strings, a Fermi and Kepler GPU should play nicely with one another for OP.

That sounds good. Can you probably post a how to?
