The DRM features are not working for anyone with Big Sur. This App signing ability will not solve this issue.
The WhateverGreen.kext developers are probably working on this, you need to be patient and wait for a revised kext to be released along with the instruction on how to get DRM working again.
This is one of the main problems that arise when a new OS is released, kexts and boot arguments that worked with the previous OS don't behave the same with the new OS. Early adopters of the new OS find not everything is working, this is normal. It is why I usually wait till the new OS is at least had two revisions before switching my main system to the new OS. I might as with Big Sur install it on a spare drive or system to see what all the fuss is about, but use it as my one and only, not a chance.
