I got the same error here =(

Add me to that list. Also if mine goes to sleep it reboots when i wake it. Anyone else?
This is on my GA-P55-UD4P.

I think this CMOS error happens because of something that doesn't save our settings while it is being disabled. When we turn the pc on, it can not load the supposed saved settings. It is like we had turned it off without clicking on "power off" option. do you agree with me?

Multibeast has a AppleRTC patch for CMOS reset. You might want to try that.

my motherboard is GIGABYTE - GA-P55-US3L
Even if multibeast indicates this patch for mavericks in my case it works flawlessly

Same error here: motherboard GA P55-ud3l. as is revision 2.3 chipset is h55 and NOT P55. so could it be related to the chipset?

I also tried applertc patch with no success.

but i managed a work around using ElliotForceLegacyRTC in misc and it did work and i don't have any more cmos errors.

one strange thing happens though: on booting up just after chimera there is a message stating that it "encountered errors during boot pause 5 secodns"

any ideas?
