Clover restart issue

Just dusted off my old cube build to set up as a server- removed the optical drive and put in a 2tb HDD. I did a fresh install of Mavericks using Clover and just the vanilla config.plist seems to get everything going just fine. I have Ethernet, wifi, graphics working fine (have not installed hwmonitor to see how my ssdt is working) but I cannot shut down. Every time I try to shutdown, the computer restarts. I have looked in this forum and the interwebs in general and have been unable to find a solution. Any thoughts?

Try installing the very lastest version of clover and make sure you install the RC scripts on bootable volumes!

Try installing EvOreboot kext with kext wizard, rebuild cache, restart. Had same trouble on Mavericks, fixed this way.
