Clover only shows a windows icon, can't do anything

I'm trying to install High Sierra onto my machine, and it rebooted a few times during installation, and now when trying to get into clover to finish, all that shows up is a Windows icon, and there's nothing I can do on said screen. No mouse, keyboard does nothing.


How do I fix this? Tried remaking usb installer, no avail.

Specs if interested:
Mobo: asrock h81m hds
Cpu: i7 4790
Gpu: Gtx 970

I was able to boot clover just fine before I started the high sierra install though. apfs.efi is present in the efi-backups folder on the usb, but I'm guessing that's not what you're talking about?

edit: yes, apfs.efi exists in drivers64UEFI, mounted the usb's efi and checked.
