Out of the clear blue sky, the Clover Boot Loader decided to start defaulting to my backup HDD drive.

To fix it, I have tried:

  • Checking the plist: My ssd is designated as the default volume.
  • Following the Remove extra Clover BIOS boot entriesguide again. --Didn't help
  • Checking the boot options in my BIOS. The boot menu seems to keep changing around without my input. I set the boot order and save, but it has a mind of it's own. And there's all this UEFI stuff I don't get. There are two different UEFI's for my SSD.
  • Running the latest Multibeast (8.2).

I would like help commanding the Clover Boot Loader to automatically select my SSD to boot from, like it did before.

Another thing, I don't know if it matters, but "Clover Options" is still showing up twice in the Clover Boot Loader. I started a thread about that, but it stayed unresolved.

Bump.

I regret migrating to Clover. It's been an unending nightmare. Also having a new problem in which my computer restarts itself during sleep. I used to have the Long Sleep Crash problem and followed the instructions to paste this into Terminal:
sudo pmset -a standby 0 && sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0?

The crash log says this:

Date/Time: 2016-05-10 12:47:32 -0700
OS Version: Mac OS X 10.11.4 (Build 15E65)
Architecture: x86_64
Report Version: 22

Event: Sleep Wake Failure

I tried searching for "sleep wake failure" but found only dead ends or outdated threads.

Bump. Another new problem: The uefi shell. Now I can't enter text into it coherently to perform "bcfg boot dump" or whatever. As I type, the cursor sporadically moves to the left and types the text over the other text. It's very strange. The nightmare continues.
