Clover black screens at beginning of boot

Boot in verbose mode (-v) to see what is happening on the background.
Your profile is not updated correctly.
So update your build's hardware details under Profile > Basic Information section in the below format (Profile link is available on the upper right side of this website)
System : Motherboard + BIOS Version + Bootloader (Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU : Detailed CPU Model
Graphics : All Graphics Devices
For Example,
System : GA-Z97X-UD5H (F9F) (CLOVER)
CPU : Intel Core i7-4790K
Graphics : Intel HD 4600/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980

Two ways are there for verbose mode booting,
1. After selecting the USB partition on the clover screen with arrow keys, press space bar and choose "Boot MAC OS X in verbose mode". Then press enter.
2. Goto options and add the flag -v under Boot Args section

Post the /EFI/CLOVER folder from your USB as a .zip file here.

It will be there, all the required driver files and config.plist are there in that folder. Without it clover will not help to boot OS X.
How you created the bootable USB??

Why you are not using UniBeast?? That will be easier than clover.
