EDIT 2: Actually, when I switched from 24bit to 16bit, the clicks seem to have gone. Explanation anyone?
EDIT 1: Hardware Problem after all .. damaged speaker cables. Silly me.
Mobo: Asus Rampage III Formula
Sound card: SupremeFX X-Fi 2 onboard
VoodooHDA 0.2.72
Sound can be heard through the speaker, but there is a clicky (electrical) sound. I have tried both front plugs and rear plugs. The sound worked fine on Win 7, so it's not a hardware malfunction. Need assistance on this.
If I missed any vital information please tell me.
