I am just starting out on this mod and it is the first mod of this level that I have done. My main goal here is to keep the inside of the case clean and organized looking. I love how clean the original design was and I would like to keep the same clean design but with an mATX board and obviously my own twist on things. I ordered the Lazerhive mATX 120 kit. In the meantime I have stripped the case and am working on plans for some things including a custom fabricated dual 120mm fan mount for the front of the case.

A comparison between the G5 motherboard and CPUS and a more modernATX motherboard and CPU.

A cardboard prototype of the dual 120mm fan holder I plan to put in the front. As you can see, one end will mount to the cover that goes over the PSU, and the other end will mount to the plate that holds the DVD drive on the top.

Also I made this Inventor drawing of the fan mount. The final one will be made from aluminum obviously. I will order the sheet of aluminum for it tomorrow.
