I am in the process of building a custom personal computer and really don't want to use Windows 7 if I can help it. I'm leaning towards doing a clean install of 10.8 Mountain Lion (purchasing from the APP Store and putting it on a DVD). What is involved with doing a clean install of Mountain Lion on a custom PC (how and what do I need)? Again I don't want Windows on the system. My other question is, are my components compatible with Mountain Lion and how do I tweak them for optimal performance? Is there anything I should be aware of before I go ahead with this build, e.g. reliability, stability issues and so on? Thanks.
