Just wanted to give a quick note on this bluetooth dongle. Bought it at Fry's tonight for $9.99, normally $29.99 - Got lucky that the shelf was mislabeled 
Took out my Belkin F8T016, plugged this one in and worked right away. Restarted, and it paired with my trackpad no problem. Does not appear to wake from sleep, but I will be trying to get that fixed using the NotShy method and let you know the progress. It claims a range of 330ft, but I don't know if I am willing to test that. Also claims to be Bluetooth 3.0
Using Mountain Lion 10.8 btw.
