Choosing hardware

Been reading this forum for over 2 years but now i have some € and my old Pentium 4 3.00Ghz is going to retire.
This is what i am thinking of buying (most is from the guide):

hdd (i want one over 500gb for now but it is also for the os, so one hdd only)

I am very light gamer (dont have much time) and do some simple video editing at 1080 so this is going to be a big jump from a old pentium 4 and a cheap laptop.
Just want to confirm there is no problems with this hardware.

Everything looks good!

Personally I would go with a single 8GB DIMM just to give you the ease of upgradability in the future.
