Chimera w/ Ubuntu

It worked with Ubuntu. Not with rhel 6.
It sees ext4. Something in rhel does not work though.
Too immature for a solution at this point.

This method works for me.

I built a Chimera boot usb stick and intend on running dual SL/Lion and Ubuntu.

Adding an internal USB hub for the boot stick, my IR sensor, and Bluetooth dongle.

Hack is almost complete, with the exception of HD audio on HDMI in SL or Lion.

Probably going to try a different Video Card.

Thanks for the advice on getting Ubuntu recognized by Chimera!

Drive Partition Table:
"/boot" -- 100MB, "primary" (note, I tried various sizes and for whatever reason 100 just works)
"/" -- sized appropriately for the distro, "primary" <-- install grub herein
swap drive -- sized appropriately for the distro
"/home" -- sized for your tastes
Thanks, I used a partition schema similar to this one and it works great. By the way, no problems with Chimera and ext4.

Did you have to synch partitions?

I did anyway, although I am not sure that it was required for my install using the USB thumb drive to boot up HDD partitions.

I did that primarily to get around any 4096 byte sector issues as my drive is newer.

Since I don't he OS X and Windows on the same drive; no I didn't need to sync partitions.
