I literally just finished with my DIY Fusion Drive project on a Hack that's been working for over a year, and the most apparent problem is with Chimera:
It will not enter the instant menu and instead boots into OS X after a short timer.
I can still enter the menu by hitting any key, but I'd rather not have to every single time I restart my computer (which I do often as all my games are on my Windows side).
As seen in the attached screenshot, I have run MultiBeast and selected the InstantMenu option, only to have Chimera consistently ignore my efforts. I'm not sure what the problem is; I have tried:
-Reinstalling Chimera
-re-running Multibeast, both before and after re-installing Chimera
-changing the boot device to the other half of the Fusion Drive in BIOS
-resetting NVRAM with "sudo nvram -d boot-args"
Any help would be fantastic.
