Hello. I have a problem. iMessage stopped working. Can't log in, it is not the old error, it's a new one.

Your Apple ID "*****.******.com" can't be used to set up iMessage at this time.
If this is a new Apple ID, you do not need to create another one. To use this Apple ID with iMessage, contact iMessage support with the code below.
Customer Code: 3**9-****-5**9

I've seen the same problem posted on the insanelymac forum, but no solution there either...

If anyone has any suggestions.....

Had exactly the issue today. I went into itunes and changed my password and bingo it works straight away.

Getting the same messages on boot up that some others have mentioned ("Unable to Handle Key" messages). Does anyone know if there's any way to hide/remove these if they don't affect the system?

Try going into Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access and delete all the keys, logs and tokens containing iMessage.

The keys he is seeing are SMC keys and has nothing to do with Keychain keys.

Did you come up with a solution for this because I have the exact same error?

Thanks
Zack
I installed the update over top of the Chameleon version with the iMessage fix. Everything works, but I'm seeing this flash very briefly across my screen at boot:

I'm thinking it might be related to the files left behind by Chameleon but I'm not sure what to remove. Anybody have any ideas?

Those are messages from FakeSMC and can be safely ignored.

I had a problem with my computer (mac mini i5, 10.8.3, with easy install). For an unknown reason FaceTime and the imessage did not work. All the rest i could sign in (Appstore, iTunes store, iCloud etc,). I reinstalled Chimera 2.1 and it did not fix the problem. The only way to fix the problem was to go back in time and reinstall and old backup. Actually not even that old, of two weeks ago. I did reinstall Chimera and all worked again. The reasons of the malfunction and why Chimera did not fix it the first time are unknown!
