Hi,
in my multiboot system I use Grub to load boot file (chimera) so I can switch between linux and Lion.
After triing new chimera 1.8 its give me this error:
Wrong multiboot magic.
Insted, with 1,6 and 1.7 things go well.
Core 2Due E6420 on a Gygabyte GA 965 P DS3.

Same problem (Ubuntu+Lion+Mountain Lion) with Chimera v1.8. This is solved reinstalling a previous version of chimera?

Same problem with Grub2 -> [Linux Mint] + [Chimera 1.8 / Lion 10.7.3]

Not happens with the last Chameleon from svn.

Installed Chimera from Multibeast 4.2.1 and everything else from 4.3.1.

Everything works fine, even OpenCL with my gtx460 :p

Don't know what is the problem with the Chimera 1.8 compilation but I hope it has no problems in the next release with Grub2.

Is there any way around this problem yet?

Can I just reinstall an older version of chimera? If so, where can I get it?

Thx!

Well I installed chameleon on top of chimera and managed to get past the wrong multiboot magic problem, but I've hit other problems (including some strange hibernate image too old issue) and still can't boot.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me where I can get hold of chimera 1.7 which apparently doesn't have this issue.

Also I would change the title of this thread, it's not very informative.
