Hello, I am looking to find out what cheap asus or acer laptops are good for the current unibeast builds. I am looking to stay under 300 bucks if possible. Also I can't find the answer but can any i3 i5 or i7 run os x

You can try finding used laptops Dell Latitude - E6220, E6320,E6420, E6230, E6430 - they are all cheap and you will most likely find some of them at about $300.

I have E6220 with Core-i7 2620M with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD, and it works like a champ with El Capitan.

New cheap laptops are incompatible with OS X, because Apple never makes machines with cheap components. Your only chance for a cheap Hackintosh is finding used laptop 3-4 years old from a premium brand like Dell or Lenovo.
