Hi,

After days and days trying to make work my `PowerColor ATI RADEON 5450 1GB ddr3`I failed again and quit. (The hackintosh can't play a 720p Video and show only 5mb vram on `About this Mac, I read a thousand posts about how fix, I edit the *.plist several times and I quit.

I build my Hackintosh using my older Windows PC parts. And All works fine on OS X 10.11.3, just the video card don't.

H81M-S1 (this motherboard doesn't have HDMI or DVI out.
i5 4690
16Gb (2x8) G. Skill DDR3 running at 1333 (xmp enable)
AMD Radeon HD 5450 1GB
HD Seagate SATA III Desktop 7200 1TB ST1000DM003

I don`t use this Mac for games, I work with Logic Pro, and sometimes I edit a 1080p video on Final Cut (not professional job)

I wanna know what Cheap video Card I can buy using HDMI video out (I don`t watch DVD or Blueray movies in this machine)

A [FONT=Swis721_B]EVGA GeForce GT520 2GB DDR3 PCI-E 2.0 02G-P3-1529-KR can do this job for example? [/FONT]


I wanna know a model who don`t give me headache.
Cheap guys, real Cheap. lol

My "Daily Driver"

After install the GT 740 I got a Black Sreen after Apple loading logo.

I Can boot the OS X with the flag nv_disable=1, but only shows 7mb vram. (Nvidia GT 740 7mb)
After that I installed a Nvidia Driver from Nvidia site (CUDA drivers, the GT 740 is on the list)

Reboot and still Black Screen.
O boot again with nv_disable=1 and know shows the full video card name 'Zotac GeForce GT 740 0mb'. That's right, 0MB

When a put nvda_drv=1 I get kernelPanic.

Help me here!
 
This Geforce Kepler Graphics should work oob, no enabler, no nothing! If you use the Clover Configurator just keep the Graphics-site empty:

Please attach a copy of the clover config.plist file that you are sure you are using.

I restarted all hackintosh process again because the older prepared pen drive was made when I tried build a hackintosh using my older AMD5450, with AMD Graphics Injected, now without any Injected graphics.

I Set my 32GB pen drive with one partition GUId,
I Used Unibeast with UEFI and No graphics injected,

I Booted my machine from USB,
I installed the OS X,

I used Multbeast with UEFI, 3a party SATA, Realtek Audio and Realtek ethernet and No injected Graphics.



On my first boot without USB all worked, and was showing "Nvidia Chip Model 2048MB" so I had thought: "It's like christmas morning". I watched a 1080p video at full screen and everything was perfect.

So I restart my hackintosh to make sure that wasn't luck, and now I am in the nightmare again. When get the My user screen and should click on the image the represents me, the screen start to blink forever and ever.

Any Ideia?

I solved.
I had thought that the cuda driver from website would fix the blinking screen. It was a stupid mistake.

I downloaded the driver from nvidia guide and worked.
