What are the pitfalls of upgrading to this version on the boot loader. Has anyone tried it and what do you guys think about it?

First I've heard of it - did you happen to get the change log to go with it?

The big question is - Has kabyl's branch that we use been integrated into the main trunk - I see no mention of it.

Not yet, it would be in the changelog for sure. Hope they do it soon so we can stop using the test branches just to be able to boot (kabyl & valv).
