Catalina Sleep crash

Is anyone else experiencing sleep issues with catalina? If I sleep manually I have no issues but if the monitors sleep on their own I have a crash panic.

Similar issue. Mine crashes no matter manual sleep or automatic sleep

if I use Alfred to sleep my displays and try to wake them I get a crash. But manually sleeping and waking gives no issues. It seems to be a problem that many on the Apple forum suffer.

Same here. Before catalina no issues, now my hack crashes sometimes after sleep - doesnt matter how long it sleeps or if it went to sleep manually/automatically. Sometimes my machine runs for 2 days with several sleep cycles, sometimes it happens after just some hours or after just one sleep cycle.

Pretty sure it is nothing hackintosh related, so probably only way to fix it is to wait for apple.

I have the same issue if I force sleep is wakes up great auto sleep crashes when the trying to wake up.

So did this clear up for you guys? I'm using a MacBook Pro and I'm seriously considering building a hack to get away from this if it went away .

Mine went away after upgrading my graphics from a Vega 56 to a 5700. Now it auto sleeps and wakes fine.

Interesting, because there's users of the 16 inch MBP (which would presumably use the same driver codepath) that have been / are still reporting this issue over on the Apple forums.
