I am having an issue with Catalina trying to import a photo from my iPhone. Iphone is a Xs max iOS 13.1.2. When I click import photo I get the error
"Could not import from “iPhone” Couldn’t communicate with a helper application." Handoff works normally allows me to open mail, podcast, and browser. I just can't import photos from right clicking. Everything worked on Mojave

i have experienced this problem 1 time. my solution is reboot both devices and log off/ log on icloud on both

I've tried that on both devices and even iPad. My guess is some file may be damaged. I think I may try a clean install and see if that fixes it.

A clean install solved my problem
