My computer has been running stably for years but today randomly my audio is not working. I haven't installed anything recently or made any changes that would affect this whatsoever. The audio option I usually use "Built in Audio" is no longer listed. Not sure why my audio would have been working fine then randomly stop working!?
Refresh my memory but are kexts supposed to be installed in both HD/Library/Extensions, and on the EFI partition?
Looks like my kexts have somehow disappeared from Library/Extensions. Any reason Catalina would erase these randomly on it's own?
