Getting CMOS Checksum errors on every boot after updating from 10.15.2 to 10.15.4 on the original 2011 CustoMacMini.
Terminal command sudo nvram wake-failure=%00%00%00%00%00 fixed that annoying issue for me. it was on an i5-2500k gigabyte z68P-D3 system.

“sudo nvram wake-failure=%00%00%00%00%00” worked on the 2nd boot as it only takes effect after the next boot.

Still got the error after 3 or 4 Restarts. :(

Changed back to a much older BIOS preset, that I suspect is actually the same as Last Good Boot settings.

Deleted Library/Preferences/PowerManagement files to address unexpected power offs during Sleep.

Then Restarted and noticed there was no Checksum Error!

So maybe it takes more than 2 restarts or also needs fresh PowerManagement files. Sorry. Changed too many things to provide good troubleshooting.
