I've been trying off and on for a couple weeks to install High Sierra, but I can't even get past the first step of getting a working install USB drive.

Before Unibeast 8 was released, I attempted several times to install using the Terminal command. It seemed to work fine, but when booting I ran into a number of different freezes. I changed a number of options in my Clover config, but no dice. (More info in this thread.)

Now that the new Unibeast is out I thought it might solve my problems, but even after using Unibeast I get a boot error.

Can anyone help me?

You can try two different things:

Set -x flag on Clover to boot
When you are in Clover, press the space bar and select "Boot safe mode" to add the -x flag.

Temporally delete the file OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi in /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ and boot

Tried each, then both. No dice.

Send me your config.plist in /EFI/EFI/CLOVER/ and I will try to configure.

I don't know what else to tell you.

It's the vanilla config from Unibeast, but here it is.

I've also posted my config from my existing install. I tried using that before, but it didn't work either.
