Hi everyone.

I've tried to search for this one but I dont think I've got the right terminology, I guess.

I tried to sleep my machine before completing all the steps and now I'm stuck in a loop of trying to reboot, and the OS X message telling me to reboot comes on at the Chameleon screen. How do I "shut down" OS X so that it reboots properly?

Is it in the CMOS, and am I correct in assuming it's in the CMOS?

Thanks everyone for your help!

Thanks for your reply, Lnx2Mac. No, I'm still on F12. While waiting for a reply, I just blasted away and reinstalled. However I did find some more answers to other questions.

For reference, how do I stop the cycle I got into (and which I'm in now again once I chose a resolution that the whole thing didn't like and got stuck on a blue screen). I turned off the power and now am stuck.

How to I get out of this loop?

Try booting on safe mode...

Lnx2Mac,

Unfortunately, i tried Safe Mode, but alas that did not work either.
HOWVER, I did try "Wake=No" and that solved it.

Boy, the roller coaster ride of frustration and sense of accomplishment is sure "enjoyable" :)

Thanks for lending a hand!
