Hi

After almost 50 retries of installing El Captain I can now boot from the HD into it, so far so good. By all those retries once I could make USB to work (without installing any kext patches and what not) but because of some other problems I had to reinstall El Captain again and now I don't know anymore how I made it to work.

I've also tried the following without any success:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...-el-capitan-install-problems.html#CategoryUSB

Also the strange thing is that I can only make booting from HD possible only if I install both versions of Clover on MultiBeast 8.1, that's UEFI as well as the Legacy one!!!

Any thoughts how I should go further? Please also see the attachment.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Thanks for your reply but I do not understand much about OS X internals. That said one thing I wanted to try was :

- Renaming EHCx->EH0x in DSDT

But where exactly is that DSDT file? I can't find such a file on my OS X partition...

BTW what also helped me to make my PS2 keyboard work was your kext @ https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller as the README was clear and simple enough for newbies like me but with USB issue I'm currently facing it's a bit more challenging than that

As soon as I hit F4 while booting from USB-Stick I see the light on the Stick blinking and writing the ACPI files. But when I boot from HD, at the clover main page I do the same and hit F4 and then mount the EFI partition with:

sudo mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1 /Volumes/EFI

And the folder /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin exists but is empty!

You might have installed Clover in "legacy root" mode instead of to the ESP. In that case, F4 doesn't work.

You should re install Clover to the ESP.

It is unlikely your computer has UEFI. You will need to use legacy, but install to ESP.

Thanks, I did that using the newest Clover version Clover_v2.3k_r3354 but now it hangs while booting from HD without any error or panic...

Are you certain you're using the same config.plist on your EFI partition?
