I've tried it all. I downloaded iBoot. It came in a zip folder. I unzipped it and it unzipped to a folder with an .iso file. I burned it to a CD through Win 7. Nothing came up, I changed the boot order in the bios, but there was never any option to boot from optical drive. Then, I moved the extracted folder to my snow leopard macbook, and burned a disc image through disk utility. Still the PC will not recognize any bootable media in the drive. It's not a good sign if I can't even get the preliminary steps to work. :(

Re: Can't make a bootable image for iBoot

Nevermind here. I solved my own problem. I downloaded a lite burning suite called ImgBurn and it created the iso such that it would boot. Anyone else having difficulty creating a bootable iBoot, I could recommend that software for Win 7 (I use 64 bit), as it's lite and accomplished it when other methods didn't even trying with my 10.6 MacBook.

Sorry to not do it sooner. I have seen others doing that here, but I'm just a newb.
