Can't login to App store, getting Your Apple ID or password

I'm slowly fixing the issues after loading Lion onto my system. First the video, then the audio now I need to figure out why I can't login. I created an apple account, went through the steps but when I went back to login I get "Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly." It looks like it never made it out because I never got an email when I used the "forgot password" Any help, thanks

I tried creating an Apple account outside of App store but I can't use it to sign in. I get "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store." What is going on, anyone?
