I finally got my installation disk running. Installer runs but I can’t format to APFS. It lets me install with MacOS Journaled Extended. Then I get this on reboot.

Did you format the drive entirely or only a partition?

The whole drive. It had Linux on it before.
After selecting the drop-down menu on the top-left corner to show all devices?

Yes I tried that as well. When I try to format as APFS it seems to be working and then throws an error.

Or it may be related to a broken GPT. Use diskutil list to find the identifier and run gpt destroy /dev/diskX.

I have another drive in it that has a Windows install. I’ll try cloning that to this drive and using that one.

I will try that and let you know. Thank you.

Successfully installed using a different drive and changing some boot flags. Thanks for the help.
