Hi - I can't seem to get to the installer on my samsung laptop with the guide.
It seems there is an AptioMemory issue but I can't find a solution after diggin through these forums.

Error when using AptioMemoryFix:
Error allocating 0x13 pages at 0x0000010000

Error when using OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi AND OsxAptioFixDrv2-64.efi
OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for \.IABootFiles\boot.efi
Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++_

Hardware:
Samsung NP900X4C-A01US
Ivy Bridge i5-3317U HM75
Board 0x144D
HD4000, 1600x900 native res. Has a micro-HDMI out port AND a VGA out port (via weird dongle).

/EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI/:
HFSPlus.efi
OsxFatBinaryDrv-64.efi
FSInject-64.efi
OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi (or variant)

/EFI/Clover/kexts/Other:
FakeSMC.kext
VodooPS2controller.kext
have tried with and without USBInjectAll.kext

/EFI/Clover/config.plist == Rehabman's HD4000_1600x900 plist, with -v added

Using a USB2 stick and USB2 port to boot .

Any help appreciated

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

Yes, I've been through it a few times.

Problem seems to be something related to Aptio memory - Always hangs at image attached when using EFI/Clover dir attached.

Make sure you're using a USB2 stick.
Try all USB ports.
You may need FakePCIID.kext + FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext.

Guide recommends my version of Clover.
Also, look into AptioMemoryFix.efi instead of OsxAptio*.efi.

Check BIOS settings as related to recommendations in guide.

Tried all - there is 1 USB2 port and 2 USB3 ports. Added suggested kexts.
All give same hang condition (see attached - new hang message with AptioMemoryFix)

Guide recommends my version of Clover.
Changed to your repo version - thx for the heads up.

Also, look into AptioMemoryFix.efi instead of OsxAptio*.efi.
Changed to this - different message on hang; still hangs.

Wondering if I need GenericUSBXHCI.kext? Not sure the USB3 ports are native intel controller; laptop is circa 2012

update EFI/Clover and hang message attached.

AptioMemoryFix.efi is new/experimental. But try without slide=0 kernel flag.
Otherwise, go back to OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi.

Do not use a USB3 port. Use USB2 port only with USB2 stick.
