Can't get into installation..

hay Guys,
I'm trying to install Leopard with 10.6.3 retail disc on my P55-UD3.
When I try to boot with iBoot ATI and insert the retail disc the apple screen is coming, but after a few seconds a "lock" or something like that.. I have everything on AHCI and set my SATA dvd drive as first boot device? Please help me..

hm, well i forgot to set HPET Mode to 64-bit. Now there is just the apple logo and the loading icon but nothing is happening since about 15 minutes..

please help me!...

Please try and read a couple of guides.
Try booting with -v too see the kernel messages and then figure out where, and why, it is stopping.
But read some guides for setups like yours first.

I had similar stuff happen when the first GA-UD3R boards came out. I turned off all my peripherals, Ethernet/Audio/eSATA/USB3. Make sure your DVD is on SATA-0 to boot from. I could only use one stick of RAM and triple channel wouldn't even run in MEMTest86.

Once you get iBooted and install SL 10.6.x restart and enable the necessary Peripherals.

I have the same mainboard, but a different cpu and graphic chard.

I used this boot cd: iBoot-ati-5xxx-3

you also have to use the F11 DSDT and remove NullCPUPowerManagement. (after installation)

Well, I will now try again with 2gig ram on second port and dvd drive on sata 0 and hard drive on sata 1.
