Can't extract AppleHDA.kext with Pacifist

The method described here doesn't work for me. It prints that a lmza error occurred when extracting the kext.

Could anyone provide me with a native AppleHDA.kext for the latest High Sierra version (10.13.4 I believe)?

just re run the installer without wiping

But won't that reset all of the kexts?
