Can't Empty Trash

For some reason my hackintosh will not empty the trash. I don't get it. I've even tried Secure Empty Trash and all kind of mac tricks with terminal that I could find online. Nothing.

I even reformatted and loaded from Time Machine again. No dice.

Anyone have an answer?

Exactly my thoughts, from memory there will be a .Trashes directory on the NTFS partition / disk and perhaps a ._Trashes too. These need to be removed manually, more than likely from a Windows box...

I'm 99% sure they are not on an NTFS drive because the drive cannot be seen on the Windows 7 boot of my computer.

That said... if for some reason it were NTFS, how can I repair the issue?
