OK, so I finally have most stuff up and running but the DVD drive is a bit tricky. It recognises that there is a DVD in drive when I boot up, but I am unable to eject the CD or get it back once a new CD is inserted. I.e. I can play CD songs in i-Tunes, but the CD icon disappears from Finder eventually so I can't eject using software. Also, hardware eject is disabled. I've also tried holding F12. That brings up the dialog but I can't do anything with it. If click Open in Finder, I get the error message telling me that the disk drive is not supported.
I even tried removing the disk with a needle in the hole. I got the disk out but it didn't recognise anything when I put it back in.
Basically, how can I tell my machine that there is a disk in the drive?
Funnily enough this problem occurred on my legit Mac Mini as well.
