Can't download OS X Mavericks from APP Store

I'm actually on the OS X 10.6.8, I'm trying to upgrade to Mavericks, but I can't download it from the APP Store, because my Ethernet Card is not being recognized.. and I can't get it to work on my OS X 10.6.8, because the ethernet kext i've found is only compatible with Mavericks.

The question is, can I download the OS X Mavericks on any other place, outside the app store?

And the answer is no, not legally.

You could use another Mac to download it though.

Edit : Or you could use a USB to Ethernet adaptor like this.
They are available much cheaper elsewhere.
