Hi everyone,

I can´t boot without iBoot CD and there are wierd letters on the screen.

After searching for almost a week, I couldn´t find a solution for my problem, so I came the looking for help.

I´ve installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and updated to 10.6.7 perfectly, following the instructions of the Tonymac guide ( http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ ... -x-on.html ). There is only a point in the guide I couldn´t make: delete the "Mac OS X Install Folder" (step 3, item 2 of the guide). I tryed to find that folders, but didn´t locate it.

Before rebooting, I used Multibeast, everything ok. But when I restared my pc, it didn´t boot to OSX... there was only a black screen with some characters, as you can see below.

The system works nice when I boot it from iBoot CD (only my microphone doens´t work).

My computer:

-MOTHERBOARD Asus p5k SE/EPU (with bios update, so i could set SATA driver as AHCI. Downloaded from http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-s ... E-EPU-AHCI ).
-RAM 4GB
-PROCESSOR Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
-NVIDIA 8600GT 512 Mb
-HDD SATA Samsung HD502iJ 500GB (In the disk utility i see this drive connection type is "external", although it it inside my computer. Could it be the source of the problem? How can i fix it?)

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks

If iBoot works, then run MultiBeast again with the settings in this guide:

I did exactly as the guide, but the outcome was the same... no boot yet.

Anyone knows what those codes mean?

I really couldn't make it works using Multibeast. The kexts, drivers and stuff are ok, but the boot without iBoot CD still doens't work.

So I decided to install Chameleon manually. Finally it worked!

Although i had my problem solved, I'd like to know why it happened. If anyone figures out, please post it.

Thanks.
