Cant boot Snow leopard

Okay so i just installed snow leopard on my pc, using the guide for the p7p55 lx motherboard which i have and i cannot boot into snow leopard without having to use the iboot cd, when i dont use it, it starts to boot up for a split second you see the apple boot logo grey screen and then it just reboots.

I've had the same issue before, I installed Chimera 1.4.1 and set my mach_kernel back to default.
