"i installed Chimera 1.11 after Multibeast"...
Did you install Chimera under 'Drivers and Bootloaders' within Multibeast, or as a stand alone install after closing MultiBeast?
I have the same problem, could you please detail your procedure.

Booted off USB, installed ML. Then at the end of installing it restarts (automatically). Again you boot off the USB but this time you can choose your install (Mountain Lion - if you are following the guide).

Then you are in ML.

I downloaded Chimera 1.11 from the downloads section
I downloaded MultiBeast 4.6.1 from the downloads section (oddly enough my network was working fine at this stage)

Ran Multibeast - ticked UserDSDT and repair permissions (i have the correct AML for my motherboard on the desktop)

Then ran the seperate Chimera 1.11 (nothing to do with Multibeast... although if its in there it might work - i dont mess around with Multibeast since if anything goes wrong i have to completely reformat and reinstall which takes like 45 min). Chimera just did its thing then i restarted. When i did this i removed the USB stick and also jumped into BIOS to make sure that it the correct HDD was set to boot first...

After this is let me back into ML but network would not work. Re-ran Multibeast and ticked lnx2mac under network (which i had to do before) as well as repair permissions and again rebooted. Again it let me back into ML only now network was working.

Hello Auran,

Thanks for the detailed info.
I too am not sure if Chimera 1.11 is included under the Bootloaders option in Multibeast 4.6.1(Lion)
Since I found your solution, MacMan posted that MultiBeast 5.00 (designed for ML 10.8) will be available shortly.
Hopefully that will include all the good things needed to make the boot process behave better-without going throught a reinstall
Again, thanks for taking the time to provide details on your solution.

I have a Palit GTX 460 1024MB and MoBo Gigabyte H77M-D3H and I can't boot in normal mode. Only safe mode (-x). If I boot in verbose mode (-v) I get Previuous Shutdown Cause: -128.
Why?????
