Hi again,
Sorry to open a new thread, I fixed my other problem, so it will be more visible. (and maybe useful for others)
I got my first hackintosh, up and running since yesterday. (See my signature for config. All pretty basic, working out of the box)
All was ok after Unibeast, OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and then running MultiBeast.
Still, I encountered problem with the front USB 3 port : my USB2 flashdrive is not recognized.
I thought about Multibeast, maybe something missing. I went again onto MultiBeast, following at other config, like Moarfish or Stork, etc.
All seems ok, I still applied again.
Now, on reboot, it's stuck at the Apple logo (grey start page) and spining wheel.
I did a verbose.
It's stuck at AppleRTL8169Ethernet : phyWaitForAutoNegotiation TIMEOUT
Did I click the wrong Ethernet option in the MultiBeast? (I'm sure I selected the Gigabit Ethernet)
How can I check it, or modify it? (because now, I can't boot)
Only solution is to reinstall all? (I only have 4 software installed since yesterday.. it's the good time to try and error)
For your info, my MultiBeast config:
- UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation
- Audio/Realtek ALC8xx/Without DSDT/ALC887/88b/v100302 Current (my sound was working. No mute, which is normal)
- Disk/3rd Party SATA (I saw my internal HDD as internal. Not orange. It was ok)
- Network/Realtek Gigabit Etherent 2.0.6
Same if I'm booting from the USB flashdrive with UniBeast. I can select the SSD but it is stuck.
Additional info: I have not any ethernet cable plugged in, so far. (can't plug to my work LAN...).
I was planning to bring home my shinny new Mac Midi, for a long week end.
Seems I am stuck for now...
Thanks a lot for your help, or ideas.
Thierry.
