Cannot re-install El Capitan

Hi,

I recently installed ElCapitan on a brand new PC, using a well-known Gigabyte H170N-Wifi.
(USB key was prepared with Unibeast).

Except the sleep issue, i guess everything works fine (I did not care about iCloud and iMessage.)
As it was my first build, I had to play a little, and I thought, well my OSX may be a bit messy, it's now time to re-install from scratch. It's also the opportunity to test my rescue usb key if I ever wanted to fix a bad upgrade or something similar...

I put my USB key back and rebooted.
I have the clover menu, select "boot from EXTERNAL USB"... and it takes for ever... I finally gave up.

The same USB key that was used to install Clover bootloader and OSX, which worked perfectly, is now useless ?
It looks like OSX cannot be re-installed using Clover ?

Please advice ?

PS : If I ask CLover to boot my OSX El Capitan, it works fine ! my desktop will show up within 20 seconds...

You need to boot from your USB key, not from Clover on your HD.

When I boot from my USB Key (after pressing F12 at boot time), I also enter Clover environment.
(I think Clover bootloader is on both devices, my USB key and my HD)

That clover has exactly the same boot options than the clover on my HD.
And when I select "boot external", I have the same symptoms.

After some time it hangs, there is no more video ouput...

I fixed my problem.

I created a new usb key with unibeast (official guide), and I could boot successfully from it !

The first time I had followed another guide, where usb key is "customized" :
- copy the latest version of "usb kext file" to clover 10.10 and 10.11 on EFI partition,
- replace the clover config.plist with another one, as suggested.

This time, no customization.

I applied the same changes to the key which I could not foot from.
put back the original config.plist + "usb kext" files.

I tried to boot again from that usb key : it worked !
