Cannot install Lion on my computer?

I am trying to do a fresh install of LION on my computer. Everything is brand new and I have done it before but I don't know why its working now. I created a bootable LION usb with my friends laptop. I get to the iboot the select the USB drive and I keep getting kernel panic unable to find drive ACPI. I tried all the commands (-x -v busratio=x PCIRootUID=x) still nothing. Anyone have an idea as to what's going on maybe? Thanks. Your help is appreciated!!

Have you made sure your Bios settings are correct. I.e.
Drives set to AHCI, hpet 64 bits, etc....

Pay particular attention to his BIOS, HD and SATA drive placement.

Yeap I tried all of that. I tried making Lion on a DVD and Flash drive still can't get a fresh install. I don't know what to do and its getting me depressed.
